This 9 Night tour will start in the hilly Scottish capital of Edinburgh. You will have the chance to sightsee the city and explore the Old Medieval Town and the elegant Georgian New Town along with entrance to the Edinburgh Castle at the heart of the city. Also discover the port city of Glasgow, today the centre of the cultural scene in Scotland with it museums such as the Riverside which you will visit on this tour. Also, Glasgow is the home to the Scottish Opera, Spanish Ballets and National Theatre of Scotland.
As the tour progresses to the Highlands of Scotland you will have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Scottish Highland scenery. See the Highland Folk Museum, New Lanark World Heritage Site, a guided tour of Knockando Woolmill, Johnsons of Elgins mill factory tour; a tour of a whiskey distillery and a trip to Sarah Berry where she takes you through the process of her Fair Isle knitting techniques and much more.
This brand new tour is an immersive knitting experience learning from some of the best knitting instructors in the way of Sarah Berry, Di Gilpin and Emily Wessel. You will get a chance to get hands-on learning from these craft experts and learn the skills of how they mastered their craft.
